Professional experience
With a profound dedication to mental health and well-being, Luke is a counsellor with 30 years of accumulated experience in education and social service counselling and support.
His career includes 6 years in EAP counselling and private practice, supporting organisations such as the CFA, FRV, TAC, and various emergency service providers. Furthermore, Luke spent 6 years as a regional coordinator for Amber Community, working with people impacted by road trauma and offering road safety education.
His clinical interests span from relationship counselling to addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment difficulties, self-worth challenges, anger management, substance-related concerns, PTSD, ADHD, and autism. In his therapeutic practice, Luke integrates a diverse range of approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, art therapy, somatic therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, narrative therapy and mindfulness.
Hallmarked by his empathetic, compassionate and creative approach, Luke cultivates a nurturing and empowering environment in which clients can explore their experiences.
