Dylan Evans
Professional experience
Dylan started his counselling career working in a primary school as well as a University. Since then, he has gained over 6 years of experience working in schools with children aged between 5 and 18.
After moving to Australia from the UK in September 2022, Dylan worked as an EAP counsellor, providing clients of all ages, primarily adults, with short term mental health support.
Over his working life, Dylan has supported people living with Autism, ADHD, anxiety and depression. He has supported clients experiencing grief, loss and anger issues. Dylan has experience working with people with disability, First Nations Australians, and people from the LGBTIQA+ community.
Dylan is primarily a person-centered therapist, and incorporates CBT, Compassion Focused, and Mindfulness strategies into therapy when these best suit the needs of his client.
