Betty Ploskov
Professional experience
Dr Elizabeta (Betty) Ploskov has been a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia for the past 17 years. She completed a Clinical PhD at the Australian National University, researching emotions in individuals with features of Borderline Personality Disorder. Betty has a particular interest in assessment and differential diagnosis of complex presentations and vicarious trauma.
Across her career, Betty has worked in a variety of settings including university, hospital, schools, community mental health, employee assistance programs and private practice. No matter the setting, she takes a holistic, non-judgemental and compassionate approach when providing support to adults, adolescents, children and families.
Betty has completed training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), relationship counselling, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
Betty speaks Macedonian.
