Professional experience
Emma has spent numerous years in child psychology settings within schools and private practice conducting psychometric testing and interventions with children, adolescents and their families. Emma has valuable knowledge and skills in counselling settings, drawing upon therapy techniques such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing as well as evidence-based social skills and emotional regulation programs. Emma has four years’ experience working with the adult demographic following a physical and/or psychological injury or illness. Emma has provided health coaching/counselling to assist clients in understanding their beliefs and perceptions related to their health and condition, assisting them to understand and overcome their barriers.
