Jessica Vescovo
Professional experience
As a registered psychologist, Jessica has experience within the occupational rehabilitation setting, providing mental health support to adults with both psychological and physical injuries to help them return to work as well as to a stable, more fulfilled sense of general wellbeing. She has worked across Comcare, CTP and Workers Compensation schemes, and provided assessment-only services for Psychological Functional Assessment, Vocational and Medico-Legal Assessments. Jessica’s experience in delivering vocational counselling and health coaching helps support her clients to maximise their potential and to feel more empowered and in control of their mental health by creating a positive and forward-looking mindset. Her clinical style is collaborative, non-judgemental and person-centred, and her clinical interests include depression and anxiety, chronic pain, stress, and PTSD – including CALD thanks to her own Italian heritage. Jessica uses a range of therapeutic approaches for her clients, including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and ACT.
