Professional experience
A Provisional Psychologist and Counsellor, Maria Agustina has worked in various roles within the private practice and non-profit sector for the past 15 years. With her specialisation in psychological assessments and treatment of children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults, she received her training overseas as a psychologist. After relocating, she completed the Master of Professional Psychology program to meet Australia’s registration requirements and is currently a Provisionally Registered Psychologist. Maria’s therapeutic approach integrates her psychoanalytical roots with contemporary evidence-based practices, while promoting self-determination and cultural reflexivity. She values diversity and strives to empower her clients to achieve their desired outcomes.
